Role Overview

As a Field Media Officer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality on-ground content, supporting event coverage, coordinating with local stakeholders, and ensuring accurate documentation for project reporting and visibility.

‍Key Responsibilities

• Capture professional-quality visuals (photographs and short video clips) during project events and field activities.
• Ensure diverse, inclusive, and representative coverage of participants and activities.
• Provide on-ground support to the Communications and Documentation team for developing event highlights and coverage summaries.
• Assist with local media engagement during events (as guided by the Communications Coordinator).
• Maintain organized event documentation, including photo logs, participant details, and essential event information.
• Share timely updates with the Communications Coordinator on event progress, branding placement, and media collection.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with media equipment, including smartphones, gimbals, microphones, and DSLR cameras.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned districts and work on short notice during campaign peaks.
• A keen eye for detail, visual storytelling, and field reporting.
